To be honest, I suspect that this is the case. Do a google search for 'buescher clarinet serial numbers' If it's plastic, then it just may be another chinese import that is using the name. There's probably somewhere on the net that has them listed. Check the wood for cracks and make a note of the serial number. Buescher had an excellent reputation for saxophones and to a lesser extent for their clarinets, and were taken over by Selmer decades ago. Does anybody know whether Buescher clarinet is any good for my level? I'm totally confused.
